Keyboard Stopped Working with Your Cloud Computer Desktop?

Many browsers warn you before allowing your keyboard to be used on a cloud computer. You will need to allow keyboard activities if you are prompted to. If your keyboard does not allow you to type or you can’t copy and paste with your cloud desktop, you must clear your browser history, cookies, and cache by following the instructions below for your browser.

Allowing Your Keyboard

If you see a message in your browser asking to allow text and images you will need to click Allow or OK so that your keyboard will work on your cloud computer desktop.

Keyboard Not Working?

If your keyboard does not work or you cannot copy/paste between your local computer and your cloud desktop, then you will need to clear your browser history, cookies, and cache. The process for doing this is different with each type of browser. After clearing your cache, close and open the browser and then connect to your cloud desktop again. When the cloud desktop opens, you may need to click Allow or OK if a message appears asking to allow text and/or images.

You can quickly clear your cache with a keyboard shortcut.  This shortcut works with Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. While using your own local browser, press Ctrl+Shift+Delete on the keyboard, and a settings window will open.

Follow the steps below for the different type of browser you are using.
